As the day draws to a close on Day 257, the lightning in the sky gets erratic and more frequent than usual. The thunder strikes and rolls in long and short bursts. The astute (or bored) individual might pick up on a strange pattern that repeats itself five times:

A short strike, two long rolls, six short strikes, one long roll, and two more short strikes.

After that, the sky falls back into silence for awhile.

What caused it? Is the Wyld angry again? Was it a warning? Have your fellow candidates been up to something?

I keep trying to resolve this into morse, and cannot.

Edit: okay, I got it to decode into something I'm sure it's not.

It's entirely possible it's wrong, as your mod is not a Morse code expert and is, in fact, a little stupid.
