Questions About the Ship

Just creating a public place where players can ask questions about the ship and see the responses that others get. Feel free to ask anything you like, but be warned, the answer may end up being "Do it IC and I'll tell you what happens."

I would also like to clarify a question that's been brought to me a few times, just in case anyone didn't see the answer:

Regarding property damage to the meadow, it is players' choice how much their individual homes get damaged, however, Claire (Glinda-mun) has been given final say over the castle and has ruled that it is still intact.

Another lock question. If Scorpius were to put up a barrier akin to the ones that keep muggles away from wizarding places, would that stay up past the five hours? Since it's an intangible thing, I wasn't sure.

Unfortunately, it would not. Any sort of barrier that would impede free movement through the ship falls away after five hours. If Scoripus wanted to investigate it further, he might find that the quartz of the walls seems to absorb his spell after those five hours, like a sponge. If he has any means to trace this magic (I don't know if he does or not) he will find that it flows up, through Deck 6 and into the mysterious Deck 7.

He doesn't have a way to trace his magic, so he'll just have to be annoyed that he can't keep people out of his room for more than five hours at a time.
