Chat Discussion

Hey guys.

So, we had a great idea for a blast chat awhile ago but it was difficult for people to get on and the game was smaller then and anyway, it didn't pan out.

But! Several people have expressed an interest in getting a regular chatroom set up. Having been in games that have active chats before, I definitely think it can not only be a great way to get to know fellow players but to hash out plots and get logs going with people.

Plus, it's a great place to makea lot of "that's what she said" jokes.

Anyway, it would obviously be optional but I'm going to look at getting one set up. Just wanted to ask if people had any preferences? We've mostly discussed AIM or IRC in the past, but if anyone else has any other ideas, I'm all ears!

I agree with what other people are saying. For day-to-day stuff I find plurk a lot more convenient, and for getting stuff started, OOC comm is the standard. However, for really big events that require a large group together, maybe setting up a chat to be used by players/mods when convenient instead of everyday would be handy? Just another venue for communication.

In which case, I'd definitely vote AIM. :)
