Training OOC Plotting

So Ben has taken it upon himself to get the candidates set up with training on both combat and Nysgod mind blocking. I figure whether or not you reply to this thread, want to be involved in the metaplot... this is a great chance to get your character trained in some skills that could be useful later on.

I'm going to make tags below, and you can use these to state what you want your character to learn, and what you're offering to teach. You can use it to perhaps make some new CR for "training" if nothing else.

There is also a questions/ideas thread. Because I have no idea what I'm doing really, so please offer suggestions if you have any!

Nysgod Mind Block Training

Obviously, Ben is going to be ASKING for training in this as he needs it. He has no experience in blocking anyone out of his head, sadly.

Christine wants to learn to block the Nysgods, with the caveat that she not be trained by one of the ones who learned from the Nysgods at the university. She's sure they wouldn't teach the candidates those skills without having a loophole in place so they can read minds anyway.

Obi-Wan could help with this. He could also help with combat training. So wherever you want him, really.

Mary definitely wants this once she comes to accept that this whole "mind reading" thing is possible... sadly I don't know when that will be.

Yeah, Diana's in for training. And would actually be surprisingly good at it, despite how flakey she is.

Garmay probably doesn't understand what's going on enough to want it, at this point. Maybe down the line.

Strictly speaking, Flagg would be able to block people out of his mind. I mean, that's magic 101 (no it's not).

However, Rory Fletcher would not be able to block people out of his mind. So Fl(agg)etcher here will want to learn about this and how to do this (to see what everyone's up to as much as anything).

It seems like a lot of people want to learn, but not so many can teach? Cho learned how to do this before they had to leave the city. She could help teach others.

Combat Training - Unarmed

Ben is going to be OFFERING to train anyone who wants to learn basic hand-to-hand combat.

Vector is a black guard - an elite soldier in his home system. He will be able to teach anyone combat training in unarmed combat or at least help out.

Dean is OFFERING training. Badass demon hunter = best teacher.

Zoey needs some training. She's got a little, but more is definitely good. She wants to learn everything. EVERYTHING!

Mary will happily attend unarmed sessions, more as practice than training. She'll likely pick up a few things in the process though. Maybe if she's in a particularly good mood offer some too.

Cho could also help, especially since men Ben's size and women Cho's size fight very differently. Or he could use her as a person to demonstrate things with, since she's pretty tough to hurt.

Tony would... probably value sparring partners, but I'm not sure he'd sign up for training or being trained.

As an elite soldier in his home system, Vector will be able to help teach people armed combat both short ranged and long ranged.

Diana is actually better with a sword than she is with a guitar, according to her Game Nine stats (forgive the geek speak), so she'd be happy to help in the training department here.

Garmay is decent with a quarterstaff, but she could always use a little more training. AND CR.

Gaila's trained with knives and closerange armed combat and would offer to teach those who want to know.

Pasha's good with a phaser but sucks otherwise and needs to be taught.

Cho's already great with a sword and a bow. If anyone is teaching with any other sort of weapons, she'd love to learn.
