Othala High Plot

Nelson is a temple-inhabiting Nysgod who has been studying Earth culture, due to all the Earthens that are currently in the temple. This has involved watching a lot of movies and television.

Unfortunately, Nelson also keeps a sprite as an assistant (sprites are very good research assistants, as it turns out). This little sprite has a bit of a mischievous temperament, and has taken a liking to all these movies that Nelson's been watching--particularly any that have to do with the mystical land of High School. High School seems to be all about love and fun and zany adventures, after all. Why would anyone want to leave?

So the sprite decides to help out and create Othala High. On Day 171 (August 21-23), she'll escape the research lab and begin flying around the temple to whisper spells in candidate's ears. As soon as the spell is heard, a person will revert back to their sixteen year old mindset. They'll still be in the same body, but will think they're sixteen again. They'll have no idea where they are, who everyone is, or possibly why they're not in Fourth Period anymore.

On Day 172, Nelson will manage to get the truth out of the penitent sprite and put together a potion to reverse the spell. Once the potion is ingested, the characters will remember who they are and everything that happened.

As always, this plot is voluntary and characters can choose not to be affected. The sprite can't hit everyone, after all.

Francis Doyle, will be very confused. He was a very good catholic boy at 16. Still living in Ireland so the brogue's a bit thicker. And he will possibly inform everyone that they are stupid, he will not hide the fact he's a very smart book nerd.

Dorian Carver, was 16 in 1776 and taking care of his baby sisters who were three at the time. He will spend half his time looking for the girls and the rest of the time freaking out because he doesn't have a reflection and he can't hold any food down.

Devi, however, will be turning 16 and will be powerless and chipper, random, curious and obscure.

At sixteen, Chell was in stasis so she'd act nearly the same as she does now. For that reason, she's be sitting this one out.

Christine at sixteen had just quit ballet and therefore was left adrift, having no idea what she wanted to do in her life and needing to fill the void. She mostly filled it with boys. ;) But also she flitted from activity to activity to find something she liked. So in the Temple she will be A) trying to experience all it has to offer and B) flirting with every cute guy she lays eyes on. Lock up yo boyfriends, lock up yo fiances.

At sixteen Aurora hadn't met Phillip yet, and she was a long ways off from any of the traumatic misadventures that expanded her worldview and made her a slightly better person.

She will be a spoiled, aristocratic brat - ultimately a good person underneath, but rather clueless about how to talk to people that aren't either fellow nobles or automatically bowing down to her, and not only unable to do anything for herself but unaware how she should even try.

So not quite a Libby, but still quite a chore to get along with. Y'all have fun with that.

Kally's Girls

She is coming into this as Queen C, most popular girl in high school, spoiled and rich and used to getting her way. She is every stereotype about mean cheerleaders, and has no filter on top of it. She will not be nice, unless you are a handsome boy or a pretty girl she could make into one of her groupies.

The Doctor...is not going to be The Doctor. He's going aaaaalll the way back to his days at the Time Lord Academy, when he hadn't so much as earned his time-traveling stripes and was known as Theta Sigma.

Once he's done wondering why the hell he isn't on Gallifrey, he's going to find the big science lab and WREAK SOME GODDAMN HAVOCK, because a 16-year-old Time Lord still knows more about science than your average 21st-century human, and if you think the Doctor's reckless now... well, as a young thing he was trapped in a regimental society with few outlets for his rebellious leanings. I'm sure you can do the math.

So Rush is reverting back to his 16 year old self, which means he will be a heavily drinking, heavily swearing, heavily flirtatious hooligan with a penchant for minor vandalism and getting into trouble. And girls' pants. BE WARNED! He was a super angry young man with no money, so at sixteen....yeah. It was all sex, drugs and rock and roll.

And I want to do Ming but I'm still working stuff out on that so I'll give her her own plot post if need be.

I've been really mean to Kurt since he got here so he's going to sit out on this one (plus he's only 19 although those three years have been REALLY significant for him).

Glinda is under-going to the mental deage. She'll be demanding to be known as GAlinda (don't forget the Ga, the Ga is important). She's awful at controlling her magic as of yet and does have a tendency to sometimes make things explode if she's freaked out. But never mind, as long as she looks fabulous, nothing else matters. She's romance and pink and girlishness crazed. And exceedingly vain.




Gaila, Pasha and Sophie-Anne are at the moment sitting this plot out.

Aileen and Seth will both be changing! Aileen will be much more volatile and will not know when to shut up. Her hair will be shorter, and she'll openly sneer at basically all things feminine. She was That Girl who thought she was special because she rejected femininity. You can't really blame her, given her culture...

Seth will be a little louder, a little more playful, and a little tactless! She will be very comfortable in her own skin for someone her age, and will not appreciate being told what to do by anyone.

At 16 Haralel would have been taken to the White Tower to become a novice. Welp! That will be interesting :D She'll still have access to saidar, but because her 16 year old self doesn't have the same knowledge or control she probably will be unable to channel as normal.

I want Vector to become involved, but considering he is a program - and programs aren't born and don't 'age' - it wouldn't be possible. :( I had originally thought that people were going to revert physically as well as psychologically and so figured Vector could de-age that way. XD Oh well!
