Welcome to the ToS Shipping Meme! The rules are simple.

2. Reply to other characters with one of the following scenarios

Remember, this is just a fun meme so you can ship things that would NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY in game. Yay for no in-character consequences to bad decisions.

SCENARIOS
1. Stupid Cupid Your characters stumble upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Berkano, which is the rune of love and new beginnings. Think Midsummer Night's Dream. Your characters may be close friends, strangers, or sworn enemies. Whatever the case is, they are now suddenly and inexplicably in complete and total love. They may or may not be aware that this makes no sense, but they can't help themselves.

2. Some Like It Hot Forget love and new beginnings. Your characters have ACTUALLY stumbled upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Kenaz, the rune of fire, passion, and sex. There's no stopping you, even if you tried. Luckily, the room is prepared for that, and comes equipped with a bed. Whether or not you guys make it that far across the room is another question.

3. I Can Hear The Bells Your characters are getting married. Maybe it's true love, maybe it's to get out of marrying Tristan, maybe you're being forced into it and this ship is a little dub-con, or maybe it's because you accidentally participated in some Nysgod ritual and weren't aware of its implications. Either way, the wedding is about to happen or just has. How do you feel about that?

4. I Don't Want To Go Your character has been determined to NOT be the one for Tristan. Whether or not they like it, they're being sent home. Do they choose to spend it with a close friend, with the one they love? Or maybe, do they decide to finally tell that person they've always had a crush on just how they feel? You only have one night left, what you do with it is up to you.

5. The First Time Your characters are interested in each other and it's time to do something about it. Either the first date, the first kiss, the first I love you....or some other significant first. Whatever it is, it's definitely time to take that step. So who's going to take the initiative?

6. The Morning After Your characters definitely went at it. Maybe it's the first time, maybe they're cheating on someone, maybe it was out of anger. Whatever the case, for some reason, it was significant and you're going to have to talk about it. Good morning, Starshine! The earth says it's time for some cuddling and/or awkward conversation.

7. Potpourri Have another idea? Pregnancy, proposal, accidental body contact, trapped together, caught in the rain, hurt/comfort, etc? Go for it! Make your own scenarios up and run with them.

[The feeling, if it could be described as such, was mutual.

Sulu took a step further into the room, compelled to be just a little closer to this newfound stranger that made her head feel the slightest bit dizzy. She is carrying a basket, what had originally been a search for plants to bring back to her room ended here, and there is an assortment of flowers in the basket. Sulu fishes one of them out, even as she shakes her head.] No, I'm not a linguist I'm afraid, I really can't place these runes.

[The fact didn't bother her at all, it's secondary to her impulse to offer the other woman the solitary flower that she'd picked from her collection.] Here, I.. want you to have this.

[Sarah frowns at the stone, wondering if maybe she should find the Doctor to see if he would know, but stops when the flower is offered. Her heart races a tiny bit, flattered to be offered such a beautiful flower! No one has ever given her flowers before.]

You're too kind... Really, this is lovely.

[She takes the flower and smells it.] Oh! It really is lovely! Have you smelled it?

[She offers said flower, smiling softly.]

[With a smile that curved up quite out of her own control, Sulu leaned over and hovered just over the flower for a moment.]

I'm glad you like it. [She would give her a thousand flowers if she could.]

Do you think they're important? The runes? [Sulu wanted to know so much about this woman, things that she was interested in were suddenly so vital.]

I don't know. [Sarah is rather distracted, fondly looking at the flower as she speaks.]

They might be, but everything here is so confusing. I don't know what is important and what is just this place, you know?

[And she had yet to make any really close friends. With Sulu here, maybe that would change. She seemed so nice, open, and interesting.]

[Sulu would be happy to be her friend. Actually she would do just about anything for this woman, and though it didn't necessarily make any sense at all, it didn't have to. It was love, Sulu recognized that now. She'd fallen in love at first sight, such a funny little emotion with such a big impact.

She wanted nothing more than to make this woman smile.]

But you want to find out, it's good to be curious, no matter what people say.

[There's a smile on Sarah's face that simply could not be replicated. Sulu was such a sweetheart and Sarah knew there was something delightful about her alright.]

I used to be a journalist back home. I did some investigative work; I even snuck into a science conference under the name of my Aunt!

From there, my entire life changed.... Until here, I suppose. But it's not all bad is it?

[Her admiration is confirmed. Not only charming and pretty, this woman was also a bit of an adventurous spirit. Sulu was smitten in the deepest ways.]

It's only temporary. [She hoped. Wanting to reassure her company, Sulu reached out and touched Sarah's wrist lightly.]

I'm sure that we'll find a way to return to our homes, and, in the meantime... there are worse places to be stuck in. With much poorer company.

You're really sweet.

[Sarah moves her hand to where they are hand-in-hand together.]

I was really sad being here, not having many friends and feeling trapped, but maybe it really isn't so bad, is it?

[If she could be with Sulu, maybe everything would change. She was positively radiant and Sarah felt a calmness being around her. No one else had made her feel like this being here.]

[A soft blush colors Sulu's face as she links their fingers together.]

It's not so bad. [Confirming Sarah's positive predictions, for a moment Sulu is content just to stand here with the other woman. Forgetting all of her original goals for the day.]

Hikaru. My name is Hikaru.

What a beautiful name!

[A beautiful name for a beautiful woman. Funny, how names sometimes fit perfectly for some people. It did for Sulu.]

Would you like to look around here with me? Look at these runes? Maybe we can figure something about or even have a laugh about it later?

I'll go anywhere you go. [She promised it so easily. Sulu wasn't inclined to part their hand holding, so really, she would have to follow Sarah in order to keep up with her.]

Alright, let's look for clues. Some societies use imagery in conveying expression. Do any of these markings look like pictures to you?

[Though it is difficult to tear her eyes away from the other woman, Sulu badly wants to impress her, and solving the mystery would probably be a very impressive thing.]

[Sarah was in a similar predicament. She had traveled with the Doctor and tried very hard to be useful to him and stand out from everyone else that could have been traveling with him. Sulu was just the same - she didn't want to look foolish or dumb and so desperately wanted to impress her.]

Over here! [She lightly tugs her over to a particular area of artifacts.] These look like pictures... Almost like cave drawings, but I'm not sure.

[She traces the drawings with a finger and glances over to Sulu with a small smile.]
