It's really unfair to call something a tavern when there isn't any booze. Well, Eliot and Cho finally got around to fixing that.

The liquor is fermented from nutrient paste. It's mostly tasteless and burns like nail varnish in your throat, but it'll get you good and drunk. As evidenced by Eliot's grin as he slides a freshly-poured cup across the table.

"Come!" he says, loftily, in an affected accent. "Join our prestigious society of wastrels and vagabonds!"

Chrysi is many things; kind, gentle, eager to please, and friendly topping the list. Beyond that, she is also the granddaughter of an ex-starlet with a truly wicked sense of humor and an extremely colorful youth behind her. Lily Maymont had ensured that Chrysi would 'enjoy her youth to the fullest,' which basically boiled down to her having as decent an endurance as possibly for a tiny redhead.

It also included introducing her to everything from fine French wines to cheap moonshine that could double as car fuel in a tight spot.

So Chrysi grins and downs about half the cup in one shot, before blinking and shaking her head. "Well," she rasps. "That's definitely...potent."

"And that is exactly the idea." He gestures with the bottle before setting it down. "You can't imagine how this place was before we managed to cook up this stuff. Dreadful is what it was. Thank Ember for magic." He raises his own cup in a toast before taking a drink.
