[Well. This is awkward. It's not the first time Spike's been brassed off, in a pub, standing over a dead body. It's not even the first time he's not even responsible. Somehow, this doesn't make him less angry.]

[ The only reaction Elijah has to walking in on an angry-looking man standing over a dead body is to sigh tiredly and facepalm. There's probably something deeply wrong with that. He'll think about it later. The dead guy is a bit more pressing. So Elijah looks up at Spike and raises an eyebrow. ]

Is that thing yours?

[ Yes, he is referring to the corpse. Because it certainly couldn't hurt to ask. ]

Why is that everyone's first assumption? Oh, look, vampire and a dead body. I must've killed 'im.
