Player Plot: Anakin's Explosive Adventure
As of day 261, the odd team of Draco Malfoy, Anakin Skywalker, and Boyd Crowder will have created something of an explosive device with the intention of flinging it up into the sky and detonating it in hopes of 'making some noise' and breaking through the barrier between the Wyld and Niflheim at least temporarily. After all, wasn't that part of the reason they couldn't use the earpieces to get word out that they were stuck?
Maybe. Maybe not.
At any rate, the Wyld is already known to not take terribly well to things, especially when they might be perceived as a threat. Surely everyone remembers the storm in response to the magic use! This is much of the same, more of the Wyld responding to a threat before it gets out of hand. And while the use of too much magic might not be an immediate threat, a explosive device definitely is.
That's why, not moments after the explosion goes off, a rather large swarm of bees will come down from the direction of the rainforest, and drop down on whatever candidates they may find. They don't distinguish between those who participated and those who didn't, but there is one silver lining to it: they only affect those outside in the Meadow at the time of the explosion, mid-day on day 261. Anyone who gets stung by these bees will fall asleep immediately, right where they are, and dream of home. People can also get caught in dreams together, and as in most dreams, nothing will seem amiss - you don't usually notice weird things in dreams until you wake up, after all. Why should you notice that your friend is home with you? That's perfectly normal!
It'll be up to your fellow PCs to analyse the bees, which will drop dead after stinging someone, and maybe find a cure to wake people up again. Should anyone take a look at them, they'll find a particularly interesting neurotoxin causing the sudden sleepiness. There's a good chance that an antidote can be made from what's available in the Wyld, but they will wake up sooner or later. Just give it a day or so.
This is a player-run plot, running with mod team permission.

FAQ
- - How long is this plot running for?
It begins on day 261 and ends on the morning of 263. By then, everyone who wasn't already woken up by science will wake up on their own. OOCly, it runs from May 18 - 24.
- When will people wake up naturally?
In the morning of the third day after getting stung, PCs will slowly wake up, just like they had a really long nap. They may or may not remember the dreams they had, or they may remember just pieces of it. It's completely up to you.
- How long are the bees sticking around for?
Just a couple of hours, and then they're back off in the direction of the rainforest. If anyone should go try to find them, though, they'll have disappeared, almost as if they never existed before.
- My character is allergic to bees! What will happen to them?
These bees are special, and no allergic reactions will occur. The only adverse reaction is falling asleep and dreaming of home.
- What do the bees look like?
You know how normal bees look? Not like that. These bees are a little larger than usual, and though they're not quite ominous, they don't exactly look friendly either. Maybe it's that really loud buzzing that precedes them, or maybe it's the fact that the yellow stripes seem to be tinged with just a bit of bright orange. Either way, they're not something you want to mess with.
- Is there a limit to how many dreams a person can be in?
For the sake of how short the plot is, two or three is probably a good number to get involved in. Three is the maximum for now.
- Can a character be an NPC in other dreams, even though they've hit the limit for how many dreams they can be in?
Yes, providing you don't mind the other player whose dream they're in writing for your character. If you want to have your character present, definitely talk to the other player involved and make sure that they have a clear grasp on what you will and will not allow to happen in regards to that. Communication is key! In this case, the other characters may be aware of their being in the dream with your character when they wake up.
- My character isn't asleep! Can they still be in people's dreams?
As with the above, if you want your character to be a present NPC in another character's dream, please talk to the other player involved and make sure they know what they're allowed to assume for your character. In this case, your character will not remember what they went through in the other character's dream. They weren't really there, after all!
- My character is dead or believes themselves to be dead back home. What happens to them? Are they required to go 'home' with someone else?
No, they aren't required to go 'home' with someone else! It's up to you as a player, but if you'd like to have them return to a point where they weren't dead, then that's an option as well. Otherwise, you can have them go 'home' with someone else.
- Am I allowed to tweak my character's 'home' to make it more appealing to my character?
You are! Within reason, of course. For example, Draco wouldn't necessarily be happy with his home world when he left it right after the Second Wizarding War, but maybe there's been enough time between the war and when he 'returns', so he can actually enjoy it again. It's up to you, but try not to create too much of an alternate universe if you can help it.
- This sounds like the mindscape plot.
The one big difference between this and the mindscape plot back in the Temple is that characters will not be aware that anything is strange. They will think that being 'home' is a perfectly normal thing, even if it isn't actually their home. If your character goes 'home' with another, they will imagine themselves as always having lived there. The details of it aren't that important, though - it's a dream, remember!

Draco Malfoy / Lydia Martin
His dream will be a picture-perfect version of his home post-War, a couple of years after to reflect the fact that he's not been home in roughly two and a half years now. It will also be his birthday, in order to accommodate the fact that Malfoy Manor is sort of in the Middle of Nowhere, England, and there will be a paaaarty. Because only in his dreams does he get massive birthday parties now, apparently. I'm open to having anyone come in and party hard with him, or to be NPCs.
Lydia Martin will also be falling asleep somewhere near the castle.
Her dream will feature Beacon Hills prominently, and will generally be a normal day of high school for anyone involved. That means no ridiculous supernatural goings-on for a change, save the fact that she goes to school with a bunch of werewolves. I'm open to anyone coming in and hanging out with her.

Christine and Ruby
Ruby will fall asleep and dream of Storybrooke. Your character can assume they're from the Enchanted Forest too and they're all trapped in town because they'll lose their memories if they cross the town line. Ruby has to work at the diner (lame) but she'll sneak your character free milkshakes and hang out when she can and then they can go to the White Rabbit (or is it The Rabbit Hole? I can never remember the name of the bar!) for drinks later.
I'm undecided if I want them cured early or to awaken on their own so I'm open to being persuaded one way or the other!

I think I'm going to leave Sarah Jane out of this one. Perhaps have her chase the bees and try to wake people up? I'm open to have her appear in other dreams as a cameo or whatever.
Robb Stark
I've been playing him here with vague memories of the end of his time in canon. That being said, I think this would be an excellent plot for him to realize he's dead. /Sob does anyone want to do a retelling of the Red Wedding or a version thereof?

Garmay will not be falling asleep. She's going to be around to aide in whatever version of TEAM SCIENCE is left to try to fix the rest of your sorry butts. She's not very smart, no. But she's great when it comes to fetching and carrying.

Reinette She has a brand new house but is likely always working in her garden. For the sake of convenience, she'll be sitting out of this plot.
Margaery Oh boy, a brand new plot and something going horribly wrong! It's perfect! I'd like for her to specifically be part of someone's dream, as she did just come from home. Feel free to hit me up.
Tara I'd like her to be involved with someone's dream as well. She's long ago forgotten what it's like to have a home of her own.

Mary: Will not be falling asleep. She won't even know about the bees. However, it would be hilarious for her to wander into the meadow and find a lot of people looking like dead bodies. If anyone is interested in joining what is bound to be chaos with that and Mary, let me know!

Frigga will be going home to Asgard slightly before the time of the films' canon - so when her family was still in ignorant bliss, she and her husband were actually speaking to one another, Thor was approaching a looked-forward-to coronation, and Loki as far as anyone knew was more or less well-adjusted and content with his lot in life (LOL!). Anyone who goes with her would probably be placed as an Asgardian noble to give them an excuse to hang out around Frigga. So any takers?

Bert, Ming, Rush, and Lust!
Ming: Is definitely falling asleep! She's going to be sharing dreams with Draco and Christine. Her dream will be Numara, in the paradisaical perfection she sees it as. I am open to whatever else!
Rush: I am totally open to Rush falling asleep and sharing a dream! He'll be back on Destiny. Open to people coming home with him, him going home with someone else!
Lust: No plans, but open to dream sharing either way! She's still pretty new and definitely needs the CR. Her dream will be a vaguely steam/diesel-punk alternate Germany in the early 1900s.

Aileen, Seth, and Scar
Seth is completely without plans. She'll be dreaming of Numara, which Faye so aptly describes as "JRPG Greco-Hawaii," particularly the ocean, since it's such a big part of Seth's life.
Scar doesn't have anything set in stone yet, but I would be open for him to visit another world or have a visitor in his own. Scar's world is based on an alternate version of 1920s Germany, where he is basically the most wanted man in the military-ruled country, so that could prove interesting.
Ben
So who wants to come to a zombie apocalypse? Anyone? You know you want to...

Martha/Mal
Mal: Mal will be asleep. He'll be dreaming of his ship, though it might skip from normal every day life on the ship to the ship from Out of Gas. Let me know what you'd rather.
Martha: Asleep with a dream of London either just after the Paradox Year starts (so tons of spheres) or when she gets "captured" by the Master again. Let me know which you'd rather.
Blaine
assassinating peoplepicking up contacts for his Organization with his mentor Russell, or at home in Atlanta a few years later. After work drinks [at his legit job] or talking with Family and shooting the breeze.Or I can not send him to dreamland and he can see what looks like a field of dead bodies and wonder if he stumbled onto so abstract battlefield again.

Helena is probably going to remain unaffected because woman needs some reprieve here. But she'd gladly try to help find an antidote/cure for this!
Susan's boys
Scott and Lydia are heading back home and will experience what it's like if they had been together.
Kurt is a) Going home to be a page with Ming
b) Going home with Matt
I'd be open for maybe one more with Scott with someone he isn't familiar with.
