It took them a few tries to get the parts exactly as Anakin needed them. Draco hadn't been overly surprised by that, in fact; he wasn't used to any of this. There was some confusion about the specifications, and that led to some heated moments of frustration, but shared goals can be a powerful motivator. In the end, the parts were correctly replicated; they verified each one, one at a time, using Anakin's current lightsaber as a test, and the bomb was constructed with no loss of limb to any of the builders. Boyd had provided some useful insight, and asked some interesting questions, and both he and Draco could now walk away knowing a little bit more about exactly how odd plasma-based explosives worked.

Well. If they walked away at all.

So far, everything had gone according to plan. They were in the meadow, as far away from the rest of their little settlement as they could get without going into a completely separate territory. The device was shot up high into the air, courtesy of a little magic, and at shortly before what could only be assumed to be mid-day, exploded. To anyone who happened to be looking up, there would be an explosion in the sky - and a rather beautiful one at that, the colours blending nicely with the gentle purples of the sky - and then silence.

The silence didn't last long.

Within fifteen minutes, there was a rather loud buzzing sound coming from the direction of the rainforest. To anyone who was in the rainforest, however, there would be no sign of the source. But to anyone remaining outside in the meadow, there would be a rather large swarm of bees swooping down upon candidates without any real heed to who they are or what they were doing. It didn't matter to them, these odd, almost demonic bees, that some of the candidates weren't responsible for what was perceived as an 'attack' on the Wyld; they weren't capable of high enough thinking for that.

If nothing else, the candidates were somewhat lucky. After a sting, the bee in question would simply drop dead where it was, joining the poor unconscious individual on the ground. After perhaps an hour or two of that - maybe even less, depending on how many candidates were in the meadow - the bees would simply return in the direction of the rainforest and disappear again, leaving the meadow a very quiet place indeed.

[ooc: and with this, the beeeeeeees plot begins! I didn't mention this before, but everyone will be expected to put up their own logs for it, but feel free to have fun with it. c: And feel free to ask further questions if you have them!]
