Out of Shadows

It is with a heavy heart that I post this message. I've been faltering here for months, as anyone who cares knows, and I keep looking for "a way back" and seem unable to find one. I love this game. I love my characters. I want to keep playing. But my actions speak louder than my desires, it seems, and I fear I need to step away completely to reassess my time and emotional commitments. Lingering on in the hope I'll "catch up" and be on top again has gotten me nowhere.

I'm especially sad because Spike here has been around since the game opened, and I hate to lose that title. I think he was actually the first app submitted. So I really, really wanted to see things through to the end. But it's not fair to keep saying I'll get back in the swing, and not doing anything about it. I'm just going in circles, here, and it's time to stop avoiding the drain.

Anyway, I don't want to post this, but I'm making myself do it, in the hopes it'll spur me into some better decision making and maybe find my way back again. Someday.

All right, folks! Spike here's been updated with Bete Noire memories. This is a cheap way for me to try to kick him in the arse and get him more active.

What does this mean for you? Potentially nothing, but it all depends!

First off, if your character knew Spike in Bete Noire, he will now recognize them from there and remember stuff (providing I remember it, which is... yeah). Second, if he knew your character but not YOUR version of your character, you can let me know whether you want him to know you or not.
