The Ghost of Metaplot Past

As some of you may have noticed on the log comm, everyone's (?) favorite (?) mad scientist is running loose on the Egime. For those of you who are newer to our community, Casey was one of two humans original assigned to act as a liaison between the candidates and the Nysgods. She was left behind when the game moved from Gebo to the Wyld and hasn't been seen since, other than a strange network post.

Something isn't right with our girl. But if I told you what it was, there would be no point in this thing we do called "role play." This is part of the metaplot, so feel free to do some snooping. To mix things up (and for the sake of mod sanity), however, I'm going to lay down a few ground rules for tagging into Casey's log. Please read these over BEFORE you tag in, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Players may tag Casey in groups of two or more. There will be no single, one-on-one interactions with her. If you tag in solo, without a group, Casey will not reply. Your group can be as large as you want, but it must have a minimum of two characters. Also, for added fun, groups must represent at least two canons.

Bogus Group: Bruce Banner and Tony Stark (they're in the same canon)

Awesome Group: Bruce Banner and Bruce Wayne (they come from different canons)

Another Awesome Group: Bruce Banner, Bruce Wayne, and Tony Stark (at least two canons are represented here)

Still with me so far? Good!

Now, to keep things organized, the first person to tag in for a group should put character names in the subject of the tag. So, let's say our friends the Bruces are going to tag Casey. Bruce Banner goes first. In his tag, he writes "Bruce Banner and Bruce Wayne" in the subject line. After he posts, Bruce Wayne goes next. THEN Casey will join them.

Those are the rules for this particular surprise event. Feel free to look for threadmates by using this post as a plotting post, or else feel free to connect with fellow players by social media or PM. Threading with new characters is, as always, highly encouraged.

Finally, a few things to note about Casey's log:

1. Casey is not wearing her earpiece; only one PC actually speaks Casey's native language and I play her (mwahaha), but this doesn't mean you won't be able to communicate! You still have YOUR earpieces, after all.
2. There is a lot of metaplot in this scene, but you don't need to be interested in metaplot to play.
3. Any characters attempting to use special abilities on Casey should contact me BEFORE the attempt, so I can tell you what happens or if it's even possible.
4. Casey's going to come off erratic and strange; the thread may be long or it may be short; it will probably be frustrating. Please understand that whatever the result, it has nothing to do with how I feel about you or your characters IC or OOC. I'm just playing the character in her current state of mind.
